This video installation attempts to rediscover the capital of the Inca Empire, using the environment as its conceptual axis. It understands this environment as a symbiosis between Andean culture and a post-Western shock, which we will call mestizaje (cultural mixing), in order to deconstruct and subsequently redefine it from different perspectives. The video installation comprises eight video art pieces, each inspired by a pop song from the 1980s and 90s. These songs were translated and re-produced in Quechua and served as the soundtrack for the recordings made in Cusco.
