Victoria is a taciturn and shabby young woman who walks around collecting herbs from the forest. She is homeless and sleeps in the open air. She believes in God and has kept her virginity. A young doctor called Juan Bautista, who suffers from chronic migraine, arrives in town to write his thesis on neurosurgery. Victoria falls in love with the doctor from the start.
