Ngali, Nut of Life" tells the story of how a special tree, the ngali nut tree, is the most highly prized and exploited resource of villagers in Fo’ondo, Toa’baita, Malaita Island. Ngali trees mark land ownership, provide the nut with a buttery texture that makes a local delicacy, and brings different tribes together for peace.
