"Over a period of five months, I had my super 8 camera with me at all times. Once every hour I made a shot of myself, wherever I happened to be, interrupting any activity whatsoever. For the hours I slept at night, I filmed black. I changed speed and focus in different variations, and decided on these changes during the filming. I do not consider this film as a self portrait.
