A young talented Ongar is an advertising director who enjoys wealth and honor. His life, however, is empty inside. Not yet married, he falls in love with a married actress Zina. She is not happy with her marriage taking anti-depression pills, but hesitate to get divorced. Her child accidently got aborted due to the side effects of the pills that Ongar was in charge of promotion. Ongar feels guilty and decides to quit his career in spite that everyone is opposed to his resign. He goes to hometown in the countryside seeking for comforts from religion. However, the organized religion system doesn’t help much. Then Zina comes to visit him. Fanatical youngsters in the village doesn’t like them to be together especially when it’s the holy Ramadan period.
