Feeling the distant heat of it’s fire still burning in the mountains of the frozen north, he goes in search of those tending the flame—the untamed, the wild, and the outcast dwelling on the fringe. Weaving narrative-driven style with award-winning, face-melting backcountry ski and snowboard cinematography; Valhalla is a vivid explosion of color, character, snow, and nostalgic soul.
Everything is baked. The snow has turned to mush and that burn is starting to peel. Fortunately, for those seeking cover from the glare there is a reset on the way.
For our 67th annual ski and snowboard film, we're revisiting some of Warren's favorite places. We followed Grete Eliassen and Jess McMillan into the Swiss Alps, and Kaylin Richardson and Chris Anthony around Deer Valley to pay homage to Stein Eriksen.
