Do you become what we hate? High School janitor Don Mullen appears to hate everyone, especially cats. "A Janitor's Territory" was a finalist for the Parsec Award for Best Speculative Fiction Story. Justin Wayne Lynn won the Best Shorts Award of Merit for Best Supporting Actor, for his portrayal of the pompous Mr. Fey.
