Hou and his pregnant wife open a garage by mountain road. Hou spreads nails on the road to puncture tires of cars, and attract business. Almost every car driving down the road gets flat tires and had to be repaired at his garage. One day, a monk was going to the village to release the soul of a dead person from suffering. While driving down the road, he too gets a flat tire. He and Hou argue over the cost of the tire repair, and eventually the monk has no choice but to pay Hou and leave frustrated. As Hou is enjoying his triumph, his wife feels a great pain on her womb. But the tires of the ambulance are punctured by Hou's nails. Despair and frustrated, Hou remembers the monk that just left...
