In 1991, after more than four decades of oppression and isolation, the totalitarian communist regime in Albania falls, leaving its people exposed to the new world. The refugee crisis spread across Europe in Germany, Italy and Greece. Some succeeded in creating a new life, others not. Shpetim and Fatbardha were together. They decided to walk the distance between Albania and Greece to live their love. 25 years later, their son walks the same distance, this time from Greece to Albania.
