The story follows Hajar (Fathia Latiff), a business student at Istanbul University. There she meets Amzar (Afiq Muiz), an economics student at the same university. Due to their unfortunate first meeting, they often quarrel whenever they encounter each other. Amzar comes from a wealthy family and always gets whatever he wants from his father. It is different for Hajar as she was raised in a modest family and at the same time she has financial problems. Without much thought, Hajar accepts payment from Amzar as wages for cleaning his room every day. In Malaysia, Hajar has a younger sister Haida, who is unemployed but occasionally helps their mother, Madam Maria, at the family restaurant. Because of an unwanted tragedy, Hajar and Amzar are forced to marry without the blessing of both families.
