In 2027, a married couple deeply in love have their relationship challenged as mechanically-augmented people all over the world suffered from extreme psychotic delusions, lost control of themselves, and started attacking people. Millions died, while hundreds of thousands more were injured and maimed. A wife out of control, tries to kill her husband, and the bond between the duo becomes tense. While around the world In the wake of this global catastrophe, society has become divided by hatred, prejudice, and fear. The dream is over, as harsh segregation laws come into affect. The most notable of these laws is the highly controversial "Human Restoration Act", aimed at isolating "Augs" and keeping them away from the "Naturals". The future for the couple is uncertain as happy homes worldwide are broken up by the police state, altering the lives of loved ones forever.
