On May 17, 2017, NJPW held Best Of The Super Junior XXIV - Day 1 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. The event was broadcast on TV Asahi and featured eight matches on the card. The main event of the evening was a Best Of The Super Junior XXIV Block A match between TAKA Michinoku and Jushin Thunder Liger.
