After Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans handyman and blues singer-songwriter Gabe Recolte was bereft. Left homeless and heartbroken, he had been forced to evacuate and relocate before he could tell club owner Hattie how much he cares for her.
The short documentary film-"tesaer" (later, based on the material, the director will shoot a full-length film) is based on the fate of the Floriculture Pavilion of the former Exhibition of Achievements of the People's Economy, and its elderly employee Valentyna Voronina, who maintains this space, investing her own life into it, until suddenly changes come to her.
At a bus stop, provincial taxi driver Yura meets young beauty Svieta, and is hired to drive both her and her mother to Pryputni - a small Ukrainian village in the middle of nowhere.
A young man falls in love with his friend's mother. Hyun-woo, who returned to the military, starts a part-time job at a bar in a difficult situation, where he meets Yoo-sun, a woman who captures the hearts of customers with her skillful ways.
There is a dark job in the world that is blind to the public. Corpse cleaning, organ and human trafficking, revenge agency, experimental animal carcasses disposal, pension exploitation facility, etc.
For Agatha, Christmas triggers sadness. She yearns for freedom laced with imagination, when magical creatures were part of a game played with friends in the forest.
Envy and conspiracy, but also passionate loves, jealousy, revenge and final forgiveness come together in the masterpiece of Verdi, which aroused the anger and prohibitions of censors of the time until the composer and librettist was compelled to make changes in it: from the original Sweden to far away Boston.
