WAVEFORMSENTITY presents a layered, complex, and expansive portrait of an archive by exploring the various spaces – from physical to illusory – which are implicated in the ecosystem of our cultural memory. This project is a collaboration with sound artist Matchess (Whitney Johnson), and was commissioned by the Chicago Film Archives in order to support the creation of a new video work inspired by the CFA’s collection.
