In Aki, Motonari Mōriya (Shinichi Chiba) expands his Mōriya family’s reach across the Chugoku region. And in Suruga, Yoshimoto Imanishi (Naoya Makoto) and his Imanishi-gumi, vowing to crush the Murohachi Alliance, launch an invasion into Owari. Acting under orders, Ieyasu Tokusawa (Yasukaze Motomiya) collides with the Oriki-gumi—plunging the underworld into an age of war.
