The film Satellites revolves around a modern utopia that became reality—one of the most ambitious and large-scale avant-garde construction projects of the 1920s—the factory town of Zlín in Czechia, built by Corbusier's student František L. Gahura as a production center for the shoe manufacturer and later world market leader Tomáš Bat'a.
