30 July 2019 Factual 65 mins

A documentary portrait of Gabriel Moked, who moved from Warsaw to Israel after World War II, quickly learned Hebrew, and published a literary magazine while still in high school. It was his first step toward becoming an editor and publisher who would shock the young Israeli establishment. A professor of philosophy and enfant terrible of the world of Israeli literature, he was the first to discover and publish works by Yona Wallach, David Avidan, Aharon Appelfeld and others. Today, at the age of 85, after 60 years as publisher of the literary magazine Achshav ("Now"), he has no plans to retire.
