The story of Gimi and his duck who step out onto the patio in front of a building where they become the target of other children who are raising turkeys. The injured duck is slaughtered in front of Gimi and later served as the main meal of the biggest and most festive dinner of the year. Gimi receives a pillow filled with the white feathers of his best friend as a New Year gift.
