ASP "ANTi SOCiAL PAiNS" at Zepp DiverCity Trailer (2022)

21 February 2022 Music 118 mins

ASP, the self-described "ANTi STYLE IDOLS" formed under WACK in March 2021, play their first-ever headline concert at a Zepp-class venue. Billed as "ANTi SOCiAL PAiNS", the show was held at Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO) on 21 February 2022, less than a year after the group's formation, with the five-member line-up of Yumeka Nowkana?, Nameless, Mog Ryan, MATiLDER TWiNS and WONKER TWiNS. Over 28 songs -- 26 in the main set plus a two-song encore that included the live debut of "BOLLOCKS" -- the group tear through material from the albums ANAL SEX PENiS and PLACEBO in front of a masked, restricted-capacity COVID-era crowd. WACK founder Junnosuke Watanabe opens the night by telling the room the venue is less than half sold, framing a performance the group meet with defiance rather than retreat.
