An early poem by Nikolai Gumilev becomes a counterpoint to the events of the Civil War of 1921. The film is dedicated to the centennial anniversary of the death of the Russian poet Nikolai Gumilev. The film is about the fact that in his poem the poet predicted his posthumous fame.
