'I don't remember much about her' is based on Kika Nicolela's research about her Lebanese roots, memory loss and mother-daughter transmission. The video combines different techniques and materials, such as scanned old family photos, video, 3D scan and manipulated children’s drawings, in dialogue with an audio interview with her mother and the video testimony of Maha Yammine, young Lebanese artist, 7 months pregnant at the time. The piece counts with the music of long-time collaborator Thierry Gauthier.
