What was life like for this generation of Jews? What did it mean to be a «Soviet Jew"? And how did the «fifth point» — the nationality column — define and subordinate the entire social, professional and personal life of Soviet Jews? From these conversations, from the analysis of chronicles and newspapers, the story of the last generation of Soviet Jews is woven together — and the environment in which they had to live becomes clear.
