The story is about Father Arrupe, a Jesuit priest who is unexpectedly sent to Japan as a missionary, right at the brink of World War II. However, as he ventures to the land of the rising sun to study the “people’s languages and the lifelong mission of intercultural understanding, Father Arrupe is met with challenges and a looming disaster that will forever shape his life and faith.
