Cellular Automata combines 2D Animation and Generative Art in a unique blend. It follows a man coming to terms with an otherworldly entity, which he discovers in a crack in his wall, slowly unravelling how he engages with his daily routine. The film serves as an allegory to its own creative construction and how it feels to be an artist trying to create meaning in the computer age.
