But while courting Alia, Chris quietly entertains his parents’ plans for an arranged match — unknowingly setting the stage for an engagement he never intended. When a career-changing international opportunity arises, Alia must choose between waiting for a man who won’t fully choose her, or stepping boldly into her own future.
