The play is written and directed by Akiko Kodama, and is a stage adaptation of The Wartime of Farewells, an original play performed by Seisho Music Academy in the mobile game Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight Re LIVE described as "a medieval war chronicle that depicts two knights caught between their love of country and friendship."
