All the resources of the Earth are exhausted. The astronauts were replaced by forwarders who deliver raw materials from distant star systems. After several trips to other planets, the assistant forwarder Gleb realizes that they are engaged in ordinary robbery. To save his mother's life and his love, Gleb has to help the young civilization of the planet Quarry 17.
