JJ Records Trailer (2026)
"The story of a local independent record store" 14 October 2026 Factual, Music 90 mins
Leuven, 1980. After the rock and blues years, Leuven, too, falls completely under the spell of (post-)punk and new wave. Johan Janssens and Jeanot Ampen—shortened to “JJ”—open a small record shop in a dilapidated building on Parijsstraat; it quickly gains a reputation within the scene as being unconventional, independent, and underground.
