After a traumatic event that leaves him alone in the world, José, an innocent and insecure boy, finds himself clinging to the last memento he received from his father, a mysterious and valuable ring. As he wanders the streets and tries to understand his place in the new reality that has been forced upon him, he meets a tough and charismatic boy who takes him under his wing. Between training, conversations and violent encounters, José begins to change. Gradually, he learns to stand up for himself, to protect himself, and to operate in a world where power, fear and loyalty dictate the rules. But as he gets closer to the truth behind his father's past and the ring he possesses, he discovers that not everyone who is by his side is necessarily who they seem.
