The Quickdraw Animation Society stands tenaciously and single-mindedly for the notion that animation is an art form and that animation should be practised and taught as an art. It continues to act as an irresistible magnet for people with passion and it continues to craft an atmosphere that converts that passion into getting good stuff done. This feature-length documentary marks the 40th anniversary of the place where that good stuff gets done, investigating how the society kept going making and celebrating the art of animation. The story is told through archive footage, film and video clips, and old and new interviews of QAS members.
