# Translation The story follows Akiera (Kiera) who bears heavy emotional suffering after her life is destroyed in the shadow of a 'curse' from her own mother due to a slip of her tongue. Three years have passed since her mother's words, and Akiera's life is completely shattered. There is no more laughter, only fake smiles that hide a pale face without makeup and a big secret she harbors. After her mother's death, Akiera returns to her hometown to seek forgiveness. However, her return is met with anger from her aunt (Mak Ngah) who is furious because she did not come home during her mother's funeral. The situation becomes worse when Akiera is forced to face Zakief, a man who holds deep resentment and hatred towards her. Zakief blames Akiera for everything that has happened without realizing the real sacrifice and suffering the woman has endured behind her resilience.
