Tasked with testing the technology and reporting any issues before returning it within five days, he begins to experience something he has never had before: genuine companionship. As the AI learns his habits, anticipates his needs, and becomes increasingly devoted to him, their connection begins to blur the line between assistance and obsession. When he starts forming a new relationship outside of the AI’s control, the companion’s programming takes a darker turn.
