Aleksandre Takaishvili was born on 29 September 1895 in Agbulakhi, Tiflis Governorate, Russian Empire [now Republic of Georgia]. He was an actor and writer, known for Tavadis asuli Meri (1926), Pirveli dge (1936) and Boshuri siskhli (1928). He died on 30 October 1958 in Tbilisi, Georgian SSR, USSR [now Republic of Georgia].
