Anas Zawahri is a film director, editor, and independent producer. Born in 1987, Palestinian currently residing in Syria. Graduated as an Assistant Engineer in Decoration and Interior Design in 2009. He has completed several cinematic workshops, including a Diploma in Cinematic Sciences in Syria in 2019, "The Lab" with Film Stories in 2021, "Impact Lab" in Film Lab Palestine with Beirut DC in 2022, "Beirut Talents" workshop in Lebanon with Metropolis Foundation in 2022, and an Aswat al-Madina workshop with Sonic Spaces in 2023. He directed the short narrative film "An Ordinary Day" in 2020. "Summer, a City and a Camera" is a short documentary film released in 2022. The two films were screened at numerous local and international festivals and received multiple awards. Mid-2023 he finished filming his first feature documentary, "My Memory is Full of Ghosts," and is now in post-production. He is also working on developing projects as a director, such as "A Man Who Lived After the Battle", and as a producer on other projects, including the "House Number 7" . The project was awarded a grant from the AFAC Documentary Films Fund in 2023. He is also involved in the film project "On the Edge of...".
