He was born in Thessaloniki in 1970 and studied film and video in the UK at West Surrey College of Art & Design. Since then, he has been involved in documentary as a director and producer. His extensive work for television focuses mainly on issues of culture and history, through a personal perspective. As a director, he has collaborated with many ERT documentary series. His independent film projects focus on the creative depiction of the stories of "everyday people" through observation, while they have won awards and distribution at international festivals.
