Bernard Prud'homme graduated as a high mountain guide in 1969, a key which "allowed him to pay for engineering studies". At 72, he is now retired but has multiplied professional experiences: president of the guide company, he also worked at the Chamonix Tourist Office, and participated in the production of expedition films.
