Buichi Saitō was a Japanese film director from Saitama Prefecture. His representative works included Wataridori series starring Akira Kobayashi, Farewell to Southern Tosa and Gazing at Love and Death. Saitō often worked with Akira Kobayashi, Joe Shishido and Sayuri Yoshinaga.
