Drew is a writer from Southfield, MI, now based in Los Angeles. With placements in the Atlanta Film Festival, ScreenCraft Drama Contest, Los Angeles Internation Screenplay Awards and 3x winner of Michigan's Hopwood Award, he aims to actualize larger-than-life stories of Black characters. Specializing in drama, he also explores genre-bending stories that he hasn't often seen himself represented in. Drew is currently a mentee in Carole Kirschner's Mentorship Matters Program, where he works on developing and writing a new pilot under the guidance of Ian Goldberg, showrunner of Fear the Walking Dead.
