Frank Joseph Galati was born on November 29, 1943 in Highland Park, Illinois, USA. He was a writer and actor, known for The Accidental Tourist (1988), American Playhouse (1980) and The Party Animal (1984). Galati married his longtime partner, Peter Amster, in 2017. Later in life, they resided between Sarasota, Florida, and Beaver Island on Lake Michigan. He died on January 2, 2023 in Sarasota, Florida, USA, complications from cancer.
