Frans Timmermans Trailers
Franciscus Cornelis Gerardus Maria (Frans) Timmermans (Maastricht, 6 May 1961) is a Dutch former politician for the Labour Party (PvdA). From 1 November 2014 to 22 August 2023, he served as European Commissioner and First Vice-President of the European Commission. Subsequently, until 29 October 2025, he was the first political leader of the GroenLinks-PvdA party coalition. Prior to his position as European Commissioner, Timmermans was active as a Member of the House of Representatives, State Secretary for European Affairs, and Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1998 to 2014.
