Hull born Garry Cooper is an actor who came to fame playing Peter, the flash boyfriend of Leslie Ash and rival to Phil Daniels' wannabe mod in cult 1979 hit Quadrophenia. Other film credits include Michael Radford's big screen adaptation of George Orwell's 1984, My Beautiful Launderette, Prick Up Your Ears and Derek Jarman's Caravaggio. TV credits include The Vice, The Bill, Soldier Soldier and Zen.
