Herschel Sparber is an American actor and voice actor born on October 18, 1943, in Kentucky. Standing notably tall at 6 feet 9 inches, he has had a diverse career in film, television, and theater. Sparber is known for his roles in movies such as "Osmosis Jones" (voice role), "A Goofy Movie," and "The Birdcage." On television, he is recognized for playing President Jaresh-Inyo in "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine." Beyond screen acting, he has performed on Broadway, notably as Big Jule in "Guys and Dolls" and appearing in the musical "City of Angels." Before turning to acting full-time, Sparber studied psychology and English, attended law school, and worked as a corporate lawyer before choosing an artistic career. He has also been active in voiceover work and continues to act in various roles including recent appearances in films and commercials.
