J.C. Song is a Chinese filmmaker, who currently lives and works in Beijing and Shanghai. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA), where he has developed an eclectic style through his practice of diverse video forms. His earlier works explore viewpoints on traditional cultural values and identity. J.C. Song also holds a MA in Filmmaking from London Film School (LFS). From this, he now is a selected director of the 26th Busan International Film Festival and the 15th FIRST International Film Festival Training Camp. His films have been screened at numerous prestigious film festivals internationally.
