Jean-Pierre Desagnat is a French film director, producer, and screenwriter known for his work in television and cinema. Born in Paris, he began his career as an assistant director, working on films such as Fantomas Unleashed (1965). Desagnat made his directorial debut with OSS 117 prend des vacances (1970), contributing to the popular OSS 117 spy film series. He directed several television series, including Les Cinq Dernières Minutes (1983–1989) and Les Nouveaux Chevaliers du Ciel (1990–1991). Desagnat's work is characterized by its versatility, spanning various genres and formats, and his contributions have left a lasting impact on French television and film.
