Joel Prieto Toropchanin was born in La Habana, Cuba. Graduated from film editing at the International School of Cinema and TV (EICTV) in Cuba. Since 2003 he has been working on a wide variety of projects ranging from TV shows to movies. From 2015 to the present, he lives and works in the United States, where he has edited about 10 titles between TV Shows and movies.
