Joop Stokkermans (1937-2012) was a Dutch composer and pianist. Stokkermans studied piano and composition with Theo van der Pas at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. Stokkermans has composed hundreds of songs for Dutch theatre, film and television productions. He received a Golden Harp award in 1974 for his entire œuvre.
