Juan Sebastián Torales is an Argentine director, originally from Santiago del Estero. Since 2017, Torales has lived in Paris where he has worked on more than 30 documentaries for French television as commissioning editor. His first short documentary as a director, La croix, premiered at the Mar del Plata Film Festival and he has recently made his feature film debut with his acclaimed film Almamula (2023), which he also wrote and edited.
