A proud Chicago native, Katie decided to keep it local and attend Northwestern University. Two years in, she chose to trade in her Division I hockey scholarship for a degree in theatre and film. After graduating from Northwestern - she began her pursuit in comedy, studying at Second City, Comedysportz, iO, and eventually landing at The Groundlings in Los Angeles.
Katie's work as an actress and comic has been selected for the Telly Awards, Hugo Awards, Addy Awards, the Midwest Independent Film Festival, the Breckenridge Film Festival, and numerous United Film Festivals.
