Born in Buan, Jeollabuk-do, Kim Dukjoong studied directing at the Dankook Graduate School of Cinematic Content. He directed short films, including "The Hunt" (2016) and "Eunha and Jiwon" (2019). His first feature film, "The Education," was invited to the New Currents at the Busan International Film Festival 2019. "The Education" was released in 2020.
