During his years in college, Lalit decided to take it upon himself to study the craft of filmmaking. Limited by the access to the resources to dissect and study the art, he fell back on the very basic yet uncommon method of analysing and understanding the craft. Through his immense desire to watch as many films as possible in an attempt to learn and review the process, Lalit picked up the interest in making his own films. Not wanting to limit himself to just one piece of the puzzle, Lalit aims to take up all possible responsibilities in the process of conceptualising, producing, and presenting a film. Drawing inspiration from legends such as Christopher Nolan and Quentin Tarantino, whom he believes were responsible for igniting the required spark, Lalit tries to craft a taste of his own blend into what he writes. Having received no formal training in any of the processes involved, Lalit tries to learn from the guidelines available while at the same time tries not to follow a particular set of rules.
